Rooted in Connection: A Welcome from KATI’s New Supervision Chair

Dear KATI Community, 

Whilst I am not new to KATI (this is my third year as a supervisor), this is my first year as the incoming Supervision Chair and I am deeply honoured and excited to be joining the faculty in this new role. I am also grateful that this semester is centred around honouring, coming into a deeper relationship with, and learning from Earth. I know I need this grounded nourishment and guidance as much as anyone, and I hope Mother Earth will support me to be present and available to staff and students this year. 

I look forward to working more closely with the faculty and board and to getting to know the incoming first years along with the returning second and third year students. In this sacred space of transformational learning, the education is multi-directional and I am curious to see how we are all changed through connections, curiosity, contemplative practice, and creativity.
