Is the KATI program accredited?
Yes. KATI is a Designated Private Training Institution certified by the PTIRU (Private Training Institutions Regulatory Unit) of the BC Ministry of Advanced Education. The graduate-level diploma in art therapy meets the educational standards established by the Canadian Art Therapy Association (CATA) and the requirements of the BC Art Therapy Association.
The graduate-level diploma program is also recognized by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), which acknowledges that KATI graduates meet the entry-to-practice competencies required to practice psychotherapy in Ontario.
