Groundless
An arts-based inquiry research project culminating as a community concert, weaving together the personal journey of an art therapy student and a universal message of active healing and hope. The personal intention was to merge identity as musician, land protector, art therapist, and child of this earth in order to inspire earth-conscious living and community connection through creativity and advocacy. This was achieved and a shared space for reflection was created, bringing together diverse communities in Nelson, to emerge hopeful in a sustainable future. This inspired both healing and meaningful action.
This project was research in action and a true model of how social justice can fit within the landscape of art therapy.
