Cheryl Price successfully completed the requirements for a KATI Capstone Project in a live webinar, presented on November 9th, 2020. The webinar was hosted by Kutenai Art Therapy Institute and was promoted to the KATI community via email, Facebook and on the KATI website. Cheryl gave an illustrated presentation of her personal journey of healing from complex trauma during her training to become an art therapist.The webinar included an explanation of Relational Art Therapy and an introduction to Internal Family Systems Theory. Throughout the presentation, Cheryl highlighted aspects of how she integrated these approaches within the framework of Judith Herman’s three-phase trauma treatment plan, illustrating this with images of art from her own creative process. The webinar concluded with a question-and-answer time. It was recorded and is available to KATI students and staff on the Student Hub of the KATI website. The power point slides that were used are included in this document.
